It's Activision-Blizzard now. They also made a 10 year deal with Bungie, the developers of Halo. They're taking over the world.

I would rather work for HTC. :aok

I will not be buying it I just got BFBC2 and its a good multiplayer game. Been playing it without any issues recently unlike the whole COD games after COD 1-3...COD:MW was good for a while but became unplayable for me in a short term because of all the twitchy's and bunny hoppers.

Personally, if I had a choice of working at either EA or Activision, I would pick EA without batting an eyelash.

I have to agree with you on that one. I've heard from some people over the years that EA is a good place to work, even though they use the Microsoft business model for PC game releases..."release it now, we can patch it later".

If Infinity Ward had maintained some autonomy and control over the development of CoD...it would be a better product.

thats why i like battlefield games, the Swedes at EA Dice dont care about any fancy American lawsuit, they just try to make a great game, which they do, and i respect them for that :aok

I used to play the BF games (1942, Vietnam, BF2), but I quit a while ago after never finding any servers with people working together, and just gaming the game to new levels. EA, I gotta hand it to them, they know how to make fun games, but they have 2 major flaws that show in every game I ever played by them. 1 being the legendary EA Lag, that they can't seem to fix on their servers, and 2 being they have yet to seem to understand that AI intelligence is more important than how nice the game looks. Most of the time I'm fighting the enemy they're just standing in the open, all shooting at me, and not trying to flank. A good example of their AI is the first Bad Company. Haggard, Sweetwater, and Red never followed you, they just stood around until you got far enough ahead that they would warp to your current spot. Then when you're trying to sneak up on some enemies for stealth kills, one of your men just have to shoot at them.

I think Hidden and Dangerous 2 was the best FPS game for AI squad control. If you haven't played it, you can get it for free...single player is tough but fun.

get a clue, you quote "it's garbage", I'm the only one use those words.
Everyone else who dislikes the game is basically saying the same thing, the fact that i summarized it is a convenience. Nothing more and nothing less.

I loved COD4, I even still play COD1...MW2 just drew the line for us PC gamers. no dedi servers meant no being able to moderate our own servers. COD7 is going back to dedi servers meaning us who own/run our own servers can ban/kick hackers as they come in. I am 50/50 on this right now...going to wait to see how everything plays out.

I wont deny I am VERY good at COD, including CODMW2.  I always have been. But CODMW2 was done horribly, you got one man army noob tubers, noob tubers, campers, sniper dweebs, commando runners.  I mean its just stupid.  I have not played CODMW2 in over 2 months, I have been playing BFBC2 semi often.  And in my opinion EA took more time and put more effort into BFBC2 then Activision put in COD.  As you can see Activision tries to get a COD out every year, when EA takes the time to make sure there are no glitches, hacks, bugs.  Yet COD has a butt load of them, and they still haven't been fixed.  Instead they worried more about getting their map packs out.

And HALO is one of worst games ever made, I dont want it on PS3.

I wish EA wuold fix the SP crashing. I enjoy SP.  BB, I agree...in COD you have guys running around behind the spawn and they do it successfully...one man army. BC2 promotes squad tactics (even out of squad rush mode) and it is very hard to get ahead of the 'line' alone.

I mainly don't like the being able to hide yourself in MW2 as well as COD5. In COD4 it was nice because the only thing you could have was a silencer on your gun. You still showed up on radar when you had UAV...

Yes, BFBC2 is a lot more squad tactics. CODMW2 I run around alone all round and go 53-1 in a TDM...Also in BFBC2 you dont see people with a 53 K/S like me in COD lol. Cause you cant just run around, no health regen unless near a medic pack, and WAY more realistic damage from guns.  And to tell you the truth, in BFBC2, I DO NOT consider using a 203 as a noob tube.  Its not like with COD when you can shoot it like 500 yards and kill other team at spawn lol. Oh and Heart beat sensors... omg that was a mistake to put in the game.

PS: You got poo X-box or PS3 spike?  ie: PS3 is mans system :)

No consoles suck ;)

I've noticed in normal rush BC2 many guys don't usually have more than 25 kills in a round, and it seems everyone gets a piece of the action...I only get about 10-15 kills a round.

In COD4 I liked Deathmatch on Crossfire and Creek and even with my lack of 'skill' in the game I still could get 100+ kills in a round once in a while.

I also agree with the noob tube in BC2...it seems less deadly and way less accurate...especially in HC since you don't have the markers on screen. I still will always stand by my statement that COD4 was the best COD (with COD1 in close second, of course) because it was very balanced. Sure, there was dweeby tactics such as dolphin divers and 203 spamming, martyrdom, last stand, but overall it was a genius base design and fun for all, when played on a server with admins.

Admining is a whole different story as well...I almost always left AGrcon up...the server of the community I was in was pretty relaxed...the thing that we hated most besides hacking was wall spamming through a wall in Broadcast with the LMG's.

Sniping also takes like 100x more skill.  Its not like in COD with the little auto-trace crud.  When your sniping like a mile away you have to know what your doing.  In COD a 100 year old grandmother with one arm could snipe.  Although thats the same as flying the spitfire  :D

No offense Bob, but put down the crack pipe...EA does nothing to stop people from making hacks on their games, and they are as bad as any company for releasing games that are buggy.

Also, when you can snipe from across the map without a scope...then tell me how good you are at CoD.
