Arena seemed a little screwy last night
« on: May 19, 2010, 09:51:56 AM »
I don't think it suppose to be setup this way.  But last night there was no Bar Dar for the Axis(knights) and that pain in the arse dark seemed to come around real quick, maybe 20-30mins between.

I don't think it was even that long between..
It was the first time for me to experience the day/night scenario, thought it was supposed to be that short time between. But it gave a surrealistic feeling..

My framerates was however slightly better than usual last night, slow framerates has been the main reason I have not been as regular in AvA as I hoped to be. When I get stuck with framerates of 4 I don't hang around for long..
But last night it was 48, then I can hang around for a good while.  :aok

SAJ,

Was this the first time that you have flown AvA since the latest patch?  I am asking because I noticed and improvement in framerates with Vsync enabled with the latest patch.  I have an old Nvidia graphics card and onboard sound.   The new version seemed to have boosted my computer's performance.

Other than that, I also heard about a missing dar bar for one side, and confirm it was working for another.

I love the night time.  It really adds a new dimension to the game.

My framerates are back to 10-15frps again in AvA after the Finland map was released..    :(

Its just impossible to fight at all, I tried a couple of sorties but soon gave up. Hoped it would get better after a little while, but it seems that its the terrain that kills my little laptop.. Too much data to consume.
Guess my next savings will go to get me a huge gaming puter just for AH.  :aok

I noticed mine took a little hit last night as well. I flew in there for a bit saturday and had no issues on the same map.
