As a trusted Squadmate I may try SH5.

I did mention that I was the opposite of most people, meaning I was in a minority, be warned :)
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

I have SH5 and I've played just about every campaign on it.

Pros: walking around the sub
        graphics are top notch

Cons: limited thing to purchase with renown.
Frequent crashing, particularly within the Mediterranean.
Stupid AI, destroyers often suck down bow shots and don't zig zag.
You need morale to perform basic activities, like manning a flak gun.
         Limited player operated U-Boat models.

I run Silent Hunter 4 with the U-boat missions addon. Then I went farther and added the Operation Monsun Mod to it. Now I can run the entire war from 39 to 45 in the Atlantic. I even went farther and added the Admrial Scheer. Now im roaming the atlantic in a Pocket Battleship. My other boat is the U-421 and Im on my second patrol with 3 freighters and a tanker sunk so far.

Oh, with the OpMo mod, I can roam the boat with the free camera, and there is no more renownwin to earn, as the mods disabled that, so I can get what I want as it comes out free.
