Cop hits a women, he had the right?

So punching her in a face....is "too little force".  I repeat, he didn't have control of this situation.  Return to school and relearn skill that are required as a lifeline in this business. 

Russian, it seemed like he gave them both plenty of chance to stop.  But when that women put her hands on a cop, he feared for his life.  As I have said like ten times, what if she had a knife on her? A gun?

The problem is he tried to control her using too little force.  The kicker is that if he used the appropriate amount of force to get into a arm bar or other mechanical control hold they would be screaming police brutality, dammed if you do and dammed if you don't.

Honestly the guy needs training. I do agree with what he done. But he could have got his bellybutton owned. He was lucky that day. And he better be glad it wasnt some 200 + lb man. Things would have got real ugly for him.

The officer was being attacked by the two females and had every right to defend himself.I was in law enforcement for several years and it was crap like that caused me to leave.He shouldn't have punched her,if it would have been me she would have gotten a defensive strike with a PR 24,maced,or tazered.The Sharpstons and Jacksons will have this a full blown assault by a police officer!This country is needing a major overhaul in the law enforcement and it's border policies.Arizona tries to keep the illegal Mexicans out,and Obama wants to crucify them for it.Now we got a National park in Arizona that we can't go to because it's to dangerous,with all the illegal aliens and drug cartel crap going on.Get are military out of them toejame holes of Iraq and Afghanistan,And protect are borders like they should be.
The officer will probably get punished for using to much force,if he doesn't get fired outright.Sigh!

I never thought I'd see it here in America but the US is ripe for a little bit of chaotic ultra-violence, just to, as Bukowski would say, give them a little taste of death. That usually gets the perspectives aligned more healthily.

Buk knew his way around "the lifestyle" - those two women of which were probably something like an example - one way or the other. Or, for another look consider the old dude and the mouthy black dude on the bus. Most cops'll tell you, most of their "incidents" involve people with slightly spindled judgment.

Speaking of the Whale Wars kids, wouldn't it be cool if I could persuade a competing network to start another series in which a bunch of pro-Capitalist ex-sailors (I know just the right people for this) had their own series in which they harassed the harassers?

It'd be really over the top and quite the spectacle if, instead of using "peaceful methods" they just went in there guns blazing and slaughtered all the littel eco-fru-tays - but I wouldn't want to do time for the likes of that.

I guess I should have clarified my post a little; I was referring to the first woman that he was trying to control.  As soon as she started to resist his efforts to control her he should have used more force to control her and if t that means taking her to the ground hard then that is what needed to be done.  He was trying to use minimal force to control her, it was not working and the longer it went on the greater likelihood of others becoming involved.

As for the second female, as soon as she stepped in and pushed him away from the one he was trying to control she should opened herself up to a hell of a lot more then that little pop on the beak. 

The officer was in a difficult position, with two assailants to deal with along with a boisterous crowd that was getting jacked up.

It seems like he wasn't trying to harm her, he saw that the situation was getting out of hand and he regained control by his action.
