I wonder who will be in the hot seat next? Roy Hodgson or 'Arry? Place your bets!

$9 million per year for THAT?  Bad investment in Capello.

Come on now :) . If we start down that path we will never finish. That's the way it is. For coaches and players and not only in football.

Well, as i said, now it doesn't matter. Will never know how it would have ended if the score at the end of first half was 2/2.  :)

poor keeper? i dont think so, Neuner is really on top, compared to others i seen at the WC.
And about Argentina, they fight in a half hour against mexico first, if they win we are ready ;),
Argentina is for me the strongest team, it will be difficult, but not impossible to beat them.
Until then

I've been watching the game all 90 min ,i didn't care who wins: was a beautiful game, lots of action but FIFA needs to fix this crap at goal line, add another referee or use the technology. If the first 45 min would have end with 2-2, England would not throw all player in attack and let the defense line open and vulnerable to counterattack: i don't think they would have won, but the 2nd part of the game could be different and more fair.

Cmon guys, had England won, we'd be gloating as well - will Germany get beat by Argentina - possibly, but they have a good chance to go further.

Exactly Ghi. The Germans players did what they had to do. But, still is sad for England and football in all, that we have to discuss a situation like that.

beside that i think we need a video control for the goalline

five players of the german team are U21 European Champions (Özil Müller Boateng and Kehdira), beating the U21 English team just a year ago with 4:0... but seems like noone registered that
there are a lot of things to discuss, but germany played as a team!

Ok Ghost, lets have a friendly wager, if you beat Argentina I'll transfer via PayPal the cost of a stein of lager and you do the same for me if you beat them.

Enjoy your night, you lot deserved it!
