Hmmmmm..I know I've taken hits from the auto-40mm at the end of the flight deck on multiple occasions upon take-off..Is it possible to disable ack friendly fire? Just disable..no kill shooter...

It happens, in fact one of my most fondest and funniest AH moments involves piffy ack killing friendlies.  :D

I was sitting on the runway one time and an enemy plane flew across the field, the gun right next to me turned and shot at the enemy but ended up blasting my wing and gears off.

It is annoying if HTC isn't going to change it then please do away with it on CVs. It doesn't do a thing to bombers but it completely ruins a good furball.

There was a saying: "There ain't no such thing as "friendly" ack"
Countless fighter & bomber pilots were shot down in the war by their own ack. It's even toned down in Ah considerably, for friendly ack never aims for you in the game. Real ack often did - ack gunners tend to shoot first and ask questions later.

This isnt war and this isnt real ack. This is a game. It is ridiculous.
I can hop in a jet and do 550 and get hit 5 times from 20 miles out. Hop in buffs fly right over CV doing 250 at 8k and never get hit.
Friendly puff ack hit me so many times last night, it had me scouting for an enemy CV.
