Been doing some reading on the various tanks of WWII, and one of the attributes of the AH tanks that is not of concern from a playability stand point is mobility. I have noticed that some of the AH tanks get hung up easier when going on or coming off a incline/decline, but other than that the only mobility issue is raw speed.
Would there be a way to model into the terrain soft or wet areas in which the tanks would become bogged down slightly? Perhaps it could be similar to the change in speed the LVT's experience when going from feet wet to feet dry, but on a much smaller scale (-5 to -15mph penalty?). Certain tanks would receive less of a penalty when driving across these bogs. I'm guessing the T34's would fair better due to the wide tracks and the M4's would be on the low end of the scale.
Thoughts?
