as much as i hate to say this....i'm glad others are experiencing this too. at least i know it's not me, my machine, or my connection.

i would imagine that they(htc) are working on this, along with the sound problems.....or should something like this be posted somewhere else to bring it to their attention?

within a couple of sorties I was back to using the old eyeballs and SA improved 20%,

don't rely on scanty radar information is a rule somewhere  ;)

If I know I can surprise the enemy then I won't be rushing to get it put back the easy way  :t

I used to be able to set a bomber on climb out and then hit the kitchen to crack a crab or make a pizza...every 5 minutes I could go check my screen on climb to make sure the sector was clear...

I can no longer do that...the only positive and effective means to ensure a clear six on climb out is to be external F3 looking back and panning every 1-2 minutes...

I can still crack crab and make pizza...I just need to check more often now...

I agree about your SA comment...it keeps you more on your toes and more engaged...

Nothing like a fresh cooked meal on a long climb out...now I just start dinner a little earlier and time it so I am eating and not cooking when I should be scanning the sky...

The bottom line is that you basically need to keep scanning and looking to the six o'clock and never assume the grid is clear...and always scan the map for those sector counters that appear then disappear...especially if your flying bombers on a climb out over enemy territory...

Constant vigilance six is not only required, its mandatory to ensure survival...

This is absolutely correct.  I have been bounced several times by nme aircraft in sectors where there was no nme DAR bar.  The only thing that saved me was that I saw them coming (by constantly surveying the sky around me).
