Thanks Tec.. :aok...was looking for it the other day to do the same thing....couldnt find it.

Ice fishing looks like an absolute blast.....sadly it never gets cold enough here in PA anymore for my lake to freeze to the point to be able to do it

Hey Tec . What kind of jig are you using ? Never seen one like that and are you tipping the jig with a minnow ? What's that yellow round thing ? top to a minnow bucket ?

  Flench the yellow thing is a ice strainer to clear the hole! And the jig looks to be a dipsydiver,see the little wings? they cause the jig to spin and make the minnow look injured.

  I used them alot walleye fishing in the rivers,often the current gave enough action that little jigging was required.

That's a Buckshot Rattle Spoon.  I tip them with a minnow head generally or a couple wax worms.

I can see me now going into the bait shop asking for Buckshot Rattle Spoon's . They be looking at me all crazy like when I sent my girl friend in to buy crickets . I told her to tell the man that see wanted the green eye crickets , LOL ....

  Cool,looks alot like the lindy dipsy diver spining jigheads!  We use something like that on driftrods,you let it fall back in the current but give just enough resistance to make it spin. Yon need a specialized reel for this called a center pin,although I've seen some level wind reels used in this manner,I suspect they have great berring in them.

  You can fish small wobble plugs in the same manner,they work great on spring and fall steelhead.My fav was a little skunk patterned flatfish!
