I don't really care about winning the war but I see no problem with this request.  "Rooks have captured Axxx from Knights".  If anything it might draw people to those areas to defend and create more fights.  That's a good thing IMO.  +1
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

+1, trying to find certain fields can be difficult at times.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

What flaming? Just pointing out the obvious.

I think a .v or view command would be a good alternative (and maybe more useful than this) to finding a base on the map without moving to that base. Could even work while in flight.

In the case of large maps I don't think it matters much as they hardly ever reset in late war arenas any way. Mid & early war arenas well what does that matter you only have two squads cleaning all of them up.

Nits for the most part don't seem to care about holding realestate in late war arenas any way it's all about the furball. The fact that you had not noticed that 5 bases had been lost tells me you don't care much about the ground war part of the game any way.

So why would you need to know what was lost or won :headscratch:

Careful with the assumptions there. I was at three of those five fields as we lost them, most frustrating.  Add to that capture notices in the text buffer that may or may not be relevant to your situation and you have a wishlist item that is almost as easy to implement as it is to argue about.

You were right about one thing, the Nits don't generally care about much other than the all-important furball.

I would not take issue with text notification of who took what.
