Multiplayer is awesome, battle.net 2.0 sucks though.

I'm going to wait till next week before I buy it, however, I want to know what  you guys that own it think of the game. I'm trying to avoid another C&C 4 let down.

I couldn't even play CnC 4 due to the fail of it, but this game is way different then that.  So far I have been loving the game, the story was a bit slow to get started but when it picks up it's awesome.  I'm almost finished with the game but it has plenty of replay and multiplayer value.  The way they do upgrades for units/buildings in story is quite nice and the it's almost like an RPG/RTS hybrid, very fun. :D
Would have had it finished if I hadn't slept so long today, blasted 36 hours no sleep. :P

12 gigs? I thought Bill Gate said that a 640k HD was all you would ever need?  :D

Nah, only takes about 30mins or so. :P

Beat the story this morning around 10:30 and I gotta say the game was awesome, may not have been as good s SCI but definitely a great game.  This is gonna be a trilogy game (likely just gonna have a different subtitle then SCII 'Wings of Liberty") so there are some story holes that will leave ya a bit annoyed.  That final cinematic was a bit short I thought, but SC never did seem to be big on cinematic.

If anyone is ever up for a multiplayer game I'm willing to play. :D

Blizzard > EA.  Much more thorough in testing their games prior to release for bugs, balance, playability, etc.

Personally I'm waiting until prices drop a little, as I was in the beta but wasn't terribly impressed.  My late middle school/early high school years were essentially burned on SC, and some of the changes from the original I can't say I enjoy.  However, I do plan on enjoying the single player campaign, in a slightly less frantic environment than multiplayer.  Maybe I was just younger and faster, but I simply couldn't enjoy the Beta due to the pace, which felt significantly faster than I remember.
