I'd try reinstalling the last patch to get the wot.exe file back.

I saw a MrMeanie last night. Unfortunately I was a smoldering hulk before I could hunt him down. :devil

I feel like dead weight in my Marder II. I hope the later tank destroyers in the German line are effective.
Oh were you that hulk? must of been nice and warm  :neener:

I have been playing the game now for about a week. I do not like the wait to get into the arena. MY choice of tanks sucks. I have enough credits to buy a better tank but the tab that says purchase will not let me click on it.. I have only landed about 8 kills thus far..

I totally hate using the mouse for control.. They really need to allow joysticks.

Other than those few items, it is a fun game to play.. Very fast moving the entire time.. The guys who have been playing longer clearly have the advantage with better tanks than the noobs..

The wait is to allow them to create something of a remotely level playing field. They could just take the first 30 players, but I doubt you'd like fighting Tigers, T-44's, and JPIV's with your tier I light tank.

You have to research anything you purchase unless it is a premium vehicle you buy with gold, that's what the experience points are for. If you have been there for a week, you should have enough gold to buy a Pz38H735t light German tank. it costs 750 gold. It will really rack up credits and experience points if you use it correctly.

I was in there the one night I posted about earlier. Looked nice. The lack of controller support just makes it like an old dos game to me.
I realize it is in beta. Maybe the actual release will advance past what seems like 80s games.

I have not thought much about it since.

Oh yeah cause controls based on the simple setup every modern first person shooter uses is so 80s... :old:

Ahhh a DOS grad... how nice.

How about a "GAME" that uses game controllers. Now wouldn't that be nice. :)

Not all games are for everyone. This one is probably just not for me.

A game controller can be a keypad type deal. WoT just uses keys on your keyboard instead of a separate keypad. And after a very short while, you get used to them and it works fairly well.

Yup...... it is just a matter of getting used to them.

The game looked beautiful with everything turned up......... my tank looked awesome burning. :D
