Lot of good ones, some of my favorites are: Eddie Izzard and Victor Borge.  Far too many awesome comedians to list em all, but those are two of my personal favorites. :)

Mitch Hedberg R.I.P.

I knew I liked you, Mitch is a great choice. I also like Eddie Murphy's early stand up and Daniel Tosh's willingness to make fun of anyone for anything. I've also recently stumbled upon Louis CK. Funny stand up.

Richard Pyor's concert film was about the only time in my life I felt like I was drowning from laughter - couldn't breathe in.

Eventually I managed to get one big raspy breath in, sounded like a donkey, before I lost it all laughing again.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Carlin, of course.  Bill Hicks, Louis C.K., Eddie Izzard, Greg Giraldo, Daniel Tosh (really good stand up, aside from the show) Lewis Black, Mitch Hedberg, Steven Wright, Kevin Hart, Richard Pryor,  more or less in that order I think.  There are lots of good comedians, and tons of bad ones, and a very few great ones.  I really hate a bad comedian, and a mediocre comedian is worse than a bad one even.  But you have to wade through a lot of rock to get to a diamond.
