Discos on the rise?
« on: August 07, 2010, 12:06:55 AM »
I have never had a disco problem during FSOs or any flying. The past two weeks I have discoed during the FSO. Tonight I discoed twice.
Are any of you other folks having the same problem all the sudden?

Yep, before tonight I think I've disco'd maybe 3-4 times in three years.  Tonight I disco'd three times during the frame.   :frown:

JG11 had a 40% attrition rate due to discoes even before an enemy was spotted.  In my flight of four, I was was only one that didn't disappear into the Leyte Triangle. :uhoh  Our other flights were losing pilots also.  Bad night in internet land.

We lost 3 pilots due to disco's last night and also had a lot of complaints about frame rate. Anyone else seeing issues with frame rate in last nights frame?

We didnt have any discos but all the guys were experiencing warps. I have to check with Machnix to see if his film was on when I attacked a Ju-88. I think that I warped into him and collided [ended my nite:-)] Will that show up in the film?? Was a fun nite anyway I just flew the rest of the nite with Gus.

I had disco when I went to reset voice.  we lost comms between squaddies and when typed in .reset it shut down the game.  I also had 1/2 the frame rate I normally have.

Could weather played a roll in the discos?  I had bad weather in my area about 2 hours before FSO.  Could the storms that I had have caused trouble over HTC?
