I really like "A" but would rather have "B" for my collection.  The Bombs in "A" and the light blue don't hit me right. That said, the patch is awesome.

I like "B" better because of the Flags and colors. I know the graphics will not be as good but so far I have not been disappointed in any patches.

Part of it is self interest, but I will give credit where due: "B" does look good, it's just way too much red and white running into more red and white for my tastes.

Sorry Fencer, been out of touch for quite a while.  I think the consensus was we needed something to separate the flags.  Other than that, I think it looks great!

I'd like to see it dumbed down first though with a rough-estimate representation of it's actual resolution on the patch.

Tough call.  I'm really stretching to find a con/pro here for one over the other.  I went with my patrioticness, I like seeing the flags comingling on B.  I think it was the brown-colored splashed on A that turned me off (the rest of it is so good though)... brown splashes or flag goodness.

I don't buy them or collect them but I like "A"....and would like it more if the gray was black to punch up the text...

I took the liberty to resize it and even add a gold braid (line) as might be on a US Flag.

I really like B but I do think there is too much red and white in it...maybe on an actual patch it would look more standoffish but it really does hurt my eyes.

Keep in mind on the "explosions" on patch A that the color used isn't exactly the color of the thread they'll have. I was sort of going for an orangish brown for the deck of the ship and figured the same orangish brown would be the heart of an explosion. This can be tweaked if you send the patch design to the patch maker, and I'm guessing Brooke talks with them about the colors and all that stuff before they start work on it.

B is nice, but it seems like it's been done, reminds me of several patches over the years.  "A" just seems nicely done with a nod towards more "unique" and distinctive.
