Sorry Sanders but, oneupmanship is something people with self esteem issues do, and to teenagers like Tupac it's irritating. If you ever had contact with someone like that, you could not deny that you would feel similar to the way Tupac feels.

Actually I can.  I do have contact on a daily basis with a high school kid that is exactly like this that works with me.  Do I embarrass him? Do I ask him to break boards, just so I can feel better about myself? No, I just ignore him and go on about my work no matter how many stories he tells.  Honestly, I actually like the kid despite the stories he tells.

It's clear you failed to see that, just as it's clear you selectively picked up on a single sideline that had nothing to do with what was actually going on. It wasn't a dig on you for you for the way you were raised and how you are as an adult, yet you were quick to take some offense to it and defend the compulsive liar whom you don't even know. I would say it's strange but...

I'm not just taking up for this compulsive liar. I'm taking up for everyone tupac seems to think is poor.  Just not right or funny to make fun of someone in a situation they can't help.  There was no need for that comment.  Strange? Haha, now I see why you side with tupac, you like to better yourself by trying to belittle others also.

Okay, I was in on this with Tupac, and I know the kid personally. You missed the point entirely about him being poor. This wasn't "Ha ha ha! This kid has no money!" it was "This kid claims to be filthy rich, bleeding ferrari's, when he is actually middle-classed". Trust me, this isn't about wealth. Hell, I'm on the edge of poverty myself. My parents could never afford to send me to college, nor did they buy me a car like most folks seem to nowadays. I worked to bring in money for school, bought my own computer, paid for my own flight lessons, and secured my own scholarships. This isn't about money, this is about being caught in one too many lies.

Understandable but...

His cousin said that his parents are dirt poor, and he has never been out of the country.

This was worded poorly if that is what he meant by it.  Either way there was no need for this jab.

He has "lawyers" we better watch out serenity.

When we told him what the fine was for flying without a license he boasted that his parents could pay for it.

I was originally asked to do this by a friend, who was being stalked by this kid. He would approach her once a week, exclaim how great he is, and then diss her current boyfriend because he was so much better.

And I'm not sure if you caught my remark that his parents really DO own the aviation shop.

I am not very good at putting thoughts to paper. What Serenity said is what i meant. His parents could not afford the lavish lifestyle that he was apparently living. He is most likely upper-middle class, but he currently drives a mazzerati. He has robots that will shoot poision darts at you if you go to his house, and most importantly - He is a celebrity in India and has made million off of his movies. He photoshopped a facebook celebrity certificate onto his profile and brags about it to everyone.

And to whoever said my parents give me everything, I had a job last summer and this summer so i could get enough money for flight lessons. I drive a 1993 Ford Taurus that my grandparents had and it smells like mothballs, however it is much better than no car at all. (But I cant drive it because i wouldnt have enough money for drivers ed after flight school)

One of my best friends used to spin out some real and can still pop out some good ones every now and then.

1. He drove his go-cart up one side of a tree and down the other side.
2. He shot his bow up in the air and when he found the arrow it had stuck a deer right in the head.
3. He killed a burgular climbing into his bedroom window with a BB gun and buried him behind a pond.
4. He's had more romantic flings with beautiful women than Hugh Hefner
5. He always leads into a story with "I swear I'm telling' the tru'f!"
"Lord, let us feel pity for Private Jenkins, and sorrow for ourselves, and all the angel warriors that fall. Let us fear death, but let it not live within us. Protect us, O Lord, and be merciful unto us. Amen"-from FALLEN ANGELS by Walter Dean Myers

That sir in psychological terms is passive encouragement. If the person in question, regardless of age does indeed act in such a way, you and everyone around him need to take steps to correct the behavior before something happens to him. I've seen people get hurt badly by people with zero tolerance for such behavior, and they do not care what "good citizens" think or say.

And no, I don't have to do squat to make myself feel better about anything. I don't have self esteem issues and anything I do or say to people comes from a lack of tolerance for stupid.

Just imagine if this kid played AH.  We'd probably hear a story how he was jumped by two guys trying to steal his backpack and how he fought them off with a pocket knife, almost slicing the throat of one of the would-be backpack robbers.
