Sunbat is cooky, but I think he is actually serious in all of this.  And why wouldn't he be, his idea is grand!  Especially the part about the walls being so high that they look like they come together at the top.

What???  This is NOT a troll!  I am serious.  I think that Lusche has hit on another element to the arena that we should figure out how to incorporate that will almost certainly create more interest in the arena.

Damsels.

Yes, Lusche would make a great Damsel. She could hold up charts after every round.

LOL Gyrene.

The more I consider this idea of damsels the more I like it.  We could incorporate it into the map so that a damsel can watch the joust in person.  We can have the two air spawns that I have already described and right in the middle of the map in between the two air spawns, slightly off center we can have a 5k tall pedestal where Betty can spawn in in her Typhoon and watch the joust.  Brilliant.

Orrr... HiTech could code in parachuting hotties that start parachuting down on the sides as soon you airstart and the joust begins.  Shooting a damsel though should be automatic expulsion from the jousting league IMO.

Discuss please.

That’s a good idea, Grizz but I think it may present a frame rate hit on some people with an older machine.  We better not do that.  Well at least at first we should leave that feature out.

I have never posted a wish before and actually don’t pay very close attention to this forum.  Does anyone from HTC post and say whether or not the wish will be granted?

I can’t wait to see people on 200 settling arguments with jousts.  That will be a dream come true.

Usually HiTech just comes in and posts this picture.  It means that your wish is granted and he is working on it.

OK SunBat.. I take it all back.  It's a stupid, STUPID idea.

I thought you were on to something, but when you're fighting tooth and nail to get your point across that there is a difference between hoing and jousting, when this isn't even relevant to your idea.. it just becomes harder to take you seriously.

Adding the fact that you end every post with "Discuss" just makes you look like an arrogant arse.. which means that nobody likes being around you anymore.

Now go take your narcissistic attitude and go run for president or something...

No way.  Why do you think it is stupid?

The distinction must be made.  It is critically important for the health of The Jousting Arena and subsequent Jousting leagues that the participants know the difference between the two.  One is a cheap tactic taken by total noobs.  The other is a timeless art that takes eons to master.

Now go take your narcissistic attitude and go run for president or something...

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.  I appreciate your input and will take your constructive criticism about my usage of the word “discuss” under advisement.

Even though you don’t like my idea (anymore) I do like yours and would not be offended if you felt like writing my name in on the 2012 ballot.
