That's nothing Cap, did you see the 5 Bish that were milkrunning? Tried to get an F6F to fight and he ran until a second F6F managed to join, then the first turd turns around and tries to face shoot me twice...second time I almost got the ram on him but missed. I was in a 109F4.

The game has changed, the overall attitude of players has changed.  I do remember back 10 years ago when i first started playing and players cared more about the fight itself and outflying their enemy not just spraying their cannons in a HOE and crossing their fingers.

Hop in a tank. You can't dweeb it up in a tank like you can in a fighter. Only thing you can do that really has a coresponding action in fighters is camp. I'm a big advocate of GV's, as I feel its a cleaner fight than it is in the air. You get repect from your opponent as long as you are in a tank that has a prayer of beating you.

yea, i've seen that happen too. when it does, i call on channel and get people heading my way, and i try to drag em to my buddies, all the while letting them think they're about to gangrape this p-38.  :devil

if they don't see em till it's too late, then we have a nice lil furball, even if it is only for a few minutes.

Ive dropped in the last few nights and MW was basically dead.  Too bad the big nit squad wasn't rolling bases because that is always a guarantee of a good fight, for me at least.  I love fighting those guys.

Always too much whining going on.  whine about this, whine about that.  People might not think they are whining but that's always what it boils down to.   "Some dweeb" ruined my fun.  wha!

i know who you're referencing, and some of the guys in there are good fights. most of them tend to ho, run to the gang or ack, or just run away if they're alone. it's ashame, 'cause that squad used to be pretty cool.....till the bottom feeders started joining.  :noid

I guess ive finally just given up and realized that the reasons I have enjoyed playing the game are a thing of the past for the most part.  What happened to flying for fun?  Or for the challenge not just for the kill or to see your name in lights.  Before you all go flame crazy I know a lot of you will say you have fun and thats fine, im glad you still do.  Ive been reading a lot of the threads with posts from guys that have been playing as long as I have and we all, seems to be a small minority anymore, agree the game play itself just isnt what it use to be.  The game has changed, the overall attitude of players has changed.  I do remember back 10 years ago when i first started playing and players cared more about the fight itself and outflying their enemy not just spraying their cannons in a HOE and crossing their fingers.  Ive played MW mostly for the last few years and up until 8 months ago or so it was a lot of fun.  Granted i had taken about a year off from playing and was just excited to play again.  Im now realizing that the style of play has been the same since i got back into it its just taken this long to really get on my nerves.  I was playing tonight for example in MW.  5 bish, 3 nits.  Our carrier was right off shore the nit base when i logged on and a somewhat decent fight was going on.  I flew in, had a few good fights.  After a few sorties a nit that had been shot down a few times, who also happens to have a low score, decides to get into the SB and fire at the carrier.  I asked him why is he trying to kill the carrier we are having a fun fight.  No answer so we moved the carrier out of range.  He the upped bombers from 2 sectors away and left his 2 other countrymates in a 5v2 while he flew over and sank the carrier.  I know its his 15 bucks and he can do what he wants and thats fine i guess but it killed our fun.  Most guys logged off after that cause the bases are to far apart to really have fun fighting and the carrier right off shore was the perfect platform for both sides to have easy access and fairly short flight to fight.

I've only been here since feb. 09 and I can already tell some changes in the wrong direction.  Flying for the fight is short come anymore and you have to search to long to even find a decent fight.  I'm with you bud If it wasnt for SDL/Squadmates/Koths it wouldn't be any fun to me anymore.

Ho'ing, running to squaddies or ack, or just running, is simply a part of the mechanics of human behavior when in a win or lose fight and I have zero problem with that.  No whining!

The thing about the bottom feeders is a valid observation until you actually play the game with them instead of against them.  To a T they are all fun to play the game with.  I used to hate that LW squad in MW because I always ended up butting heads with them in chat.  Once you switch sides and play "with" them they are just like everyone else, good people.

In all my years playing MMOs I have encountered only one person that was truly a terrible individual, someone I suspect is either dead today, incarcerated, or institutionalized.  I know he is no longer in THIS game.

i did used to fly with them.  :devil

lazy knows, and spent a LOT of time trying to tell me.......i didn't pay any mind........then it finally hit home one day......i left the squad on good terms, 'cause i like the older members a lot, and hold them in pretty high respect. my primary reason for leaving was to fly with like minded doods in the ole 38 o doom......secondary was the bottom feeders coming into the squad.
