I thought the only constant was change.

Actually, the only constant that matters in this ol' world these days is the almighty dollar & some-odd cents change.

Has anyone noticed people leaving the game at a fairly good rate?

If anything I feel I like notice more people here.

My turn  :lol

Just started flying again and I don't see any difference in the game from the last 2 or 3 (more?) years.  Basically, the game has become too easy and predictable.  If after being off for more than a year (with a few short comebacks) I can take a P40 up and torture multiple Spit16s, something is wrong with the game.  Too predictable and too easy!  Avoid HO, reverse, fire, rinse, repeat . . . . .

I think this started when they made every plane fly like a Spitfire (almost).  That made it too easy for every one. It took the challenge away, and kept the players that would have otherwise left because of the learning curve (good business decision btw), in the game.  This easy mode everything lead to the game we have today.

It used to be that if an F4U or 109 met a spitfire, the guys in the U or the 109 had better known what they were doing.  You had an E vs Turning fight.  Now, I can just turn fight a spit in a G6, a 110, a F4U, etc.

Well in your case, your natural abilities must be absolutely uncanny, as I've been playing for five years now, and I STILL find it challenging, struggling to see even 2 or 3 kills in lights.  But to me, the challenge is the fun of it.  If it were easy, I'd have gotten bored of it a long time ago...

Just keep in mind that this game doesn't came as easy for most people as it does for you.

Really, when did this happen.  Give an update version number or something verifiable so that I can go back and fact check, because I think you are up past your nostrils in odoriferous poo.

LOL, I love when 110s try to turn with me in just about anything.  I know that is a fireball waiting to happen and it ain't gonna be me.  Only time a 110 has gotten me is when I was already locked into a turning engagement with another plane.

In ww2ol, we axis fighter pilots were stuck in 110s in tier 0 (early war) for the longest time and I hated them.  It was to the point that I just about didn't fly until tier 1 came in with the 109E-4.  Now over here, when I see one I feel this urge to drop everything and kill them.  :P

i think i've only had one or two 110's out turn my pee38 o doom. i also think both of them were flown by some of the jg54 doods.

another disturbing trend i've been noticing, is the fact that rather than adapting, and overcoming, people that don't like the changes are all too anxious to come here and complain. very disturbing.

Nah, he was talking about people "trolling" the maps looking for easy captures with the least amount of resistance, which i find to be extremely hypocritical.

The above comment is clearly part of the problem.. There you go again dictating how other should play the game..If a player wants to troll the map looking for easy captures, why should you care? If you do not want him capturing bases, you should up and stop him or them.. Yours is the same old mentality. Either play the game my way or your a hypocrite. If a group is taking undefended bases who is fault is it really? I would think that the owners of those bases are at fault for not defending them...

An excuse being used by lamers for years.

If you were actually employing tactics and strategy you will have success no matter what the enemy does because you planned for it.

If your tactics and strategy can be disrupted by just a few enemy upping at the base you are attacking than you need to rethink what you consider tactics and strategy.

(effective ones anyway...)

As 'Mike115' said when he pm'ed me last night, paying $15/month is a heck of lot cheaper than paying for a nut doctor's therapy most of us need from real life.

Actually it was me, and i still think this  LOL
