You're right Spaz. Does an arrogant ego not generaly indicate lack of experience? I think so.

We all need time and awareness to grow up and split our arrogance into ego and self confidence. Keeping and sometimes displaying the self confidence is still good. Leaving the ego part behind closed doors for the most part is also advisable.

As I have mentioned in earlier threads, there are a few who fill the voids in their dull lives attacking the less than knowlegdeable.  They generally have been at the game for quite some time and are exhausted by people who want to post without doing the research or putting the time in to support a comment with tangible and credible data.  Call them bitter and mean. There are many more who of those in the same sage on the stage category who provide direction in a much more mature manner.  I gravitate to them and flat ignore and posts by the donkeys of the bbs.  

Bottom line, remember you are always on the higher ground when you dont follow the same path. In the ma if you catch youself saying damn nub, is the same in here with silly posts.

I am completely tired of all the incessant arguing on these forums that seem to be here, solely for arguments sake. Most of these involving one or more individuals that can't seem to get their head out of their rear ends. There are multiple people I see that are guilty of this. The worst part is that much of this goes on in the wishlist section of these forums. Constantly, when there are good discussions and/or suggestions, they constantly get derailed for the lulz or end up starting some huge argument which mostly ends up becoming a battle of two egos that refuse to leave their screen and go do something productive.

EVERY post that I read/participate in, is hijacked in some way, shape, or form----

Whether it be:

1.  Posting random pictures that is not relative to the topic.
2.  Quoting an entire message and putting a   under it.
3.  People posting just to post... if you can't contribute to a particular topic, then don't post at all!
4.  Dragging the thread completely away from the topic on to something else.  If you want to do that, POST A NEW TOPIC.
5.  You mentioned the wishlist--- blow my brains out.  People will specifically shoot your idea down just to do so, even though it will improve the game for some and have no negative effect on anyone.  See ".dot command for away and return" as an example.  I don't need people telling me I'm lazy, or trying to make jokes--- it is a feature request forum.

It's as simple as common courtesy, which I would say a big part of this community is lacking.
