Greatest car flicks

IMO

1.Two Lane Blacktop
2.Vanishing Point
3.Gone in 60 Seconds...the 1st one
4.American Graffti
5.and I have to add Bullet because of the car chase scene.  :old:


does anyone know if any of these is on DVD?

+1 for Ronin. Funny this thread came up, I just watched it again last night, and the wife saw it for the first time. OUTSTANDING 4 wheel action in that flick.

DeNiro did the driving in his car, so no stunt driver wss used.  He was duct taped to the seat as well.

Bullit had the coolest car chase scene.  The suspense before it starts is amazing.

Duel was a great movie that still holds up today.

Road Warrior and Ronin were very good.

The car chase in Bourne Identity was awesome too.

Well for individual scenes you gotta go with the Blues Brothers.  Multi-police car pileup, and dropping a Nazi-driven car from a thousand feet up.

I'm a Ford guy, but I'd love to have this car from another good chase flick.



Beautiful lines to me, only surpassed by the 68 390 GT in Bullitt, as Highland Green is my fav. color ever to adorn a car.

I've got Bullit and Vannishing Point on Bluray.

I've yet to see Two Lane Blacktop.  I've only heard good things about it.  As soon as it's on Bluray I'll get it.
