Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.

When the game is over, the Kings and Pawns all go into the same box.

The first rain bands are just off the coast from Virginia Beach, if you could see how calm it is right now, not even a hint of wind or storm clouds, not even an indication of whats to come in the next few hours....  very misleading.

Makes me think of how grateful of the technology we have today and that I am able know and see what is on the way and able to prepare for the potential unknown, I could only imagine how weather like this caught many coastline communities, fisherman and sailors by suprise years ago and how devastating it must have been to realize much too late that its just not another thunderstorm but a hurricane.

I live by the lynnhaven mall. Seems like we were the only house on the street to do any prep. Better safe then sorry I guess.
