Someone said it in an earlier post.  If you want to stop the hord, take out the barracks at the bases they are using to stage their attacks from.  No troops, no capture and the troops stay down long enough for the defenders to rally and counter attack.

1.  Up with 2-3 good sticks in your favorite planes.

2.  Up a base back alone in a 262.

3.  Organize a Spitfire fighter sweep.

I've used all of these recently and each is effective at dissipating a hoard.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I've also found N1K's slaughter Blue hordes and La5's are good against the sloppy vulch.  I think La7's are overrated and should be avoided at all costs

...spitfires just don't have the amount of cannon you'd like to have in a fight that you may not be able to land right away in.

As I've said in another thread:  you are in no possition to comment on how I play or fight seeing as we've bumped into each other on what? 3 or 4 seperate occasions?

I agree, they also seem like they absolutely must come with so much overkill to take it, not to create a fight but to end it as fast as they can, or not come at all unless there is such overwhelming 10 to 1 odds in their favor.
Bish channel the other day, mission was up to do a NOE raid, there were 20 people in the mission, somebody says "pity we can't get 50 people in", another guys like "wtf why 50?", guys like "it'd just be better".

I guess sometimes people like the idea of an unstoppable force, online shock and awe campaign :)

btw I was spyng, I'd never go bish... for some reason I kept accidentally running into their goon n their horde noe's weren't that successful.

One P51-D with two 500 lbs bombs can take out all four ords at a large field and fly home. I do it all the time. As stated in other posts no ords no troops no base capture. Same with the CV, I see people take a CV to a base with the ords up or the ords at the next base still up. Then wonder why the CV got sunk so fast. Here is a clue, No one killed the ords first.

As I said one P-51 pilot can change the out come in your part of the map by just porking the ords or killing all the troops at a V-base.. If you don't like the 51 pick a plane you like and kill some ords and troops. That alone is one of the keys to holding or taking a base in this game.

You stated that you were indeed spying.  You think your conduct in any way negates their lame buttocks tactic of wishing to have number to hord?  I think not!  Actually I would think that your action of spying is more despicable than them wanting to NOE or to even do it with hording numbers.  It seems to me your conduct should be what is called into question here.  Somebody quickly flush the toilet as we've got a turd floating around.

All in disgust...

Spying,,, Hmm..

I don't condone it, but however it is as much a part of the game as hording and is within the setup of the game as it is right now.

Coming out on the BBS to admit you were doing it,,,    :rofl

As I've said in another thread:  you are in no possition to comment on how I play or fight seeing as we've bumped into each other on what? 3 or 4 seperate occasions?

And each time you've flown like a timid HO and resulted in being an easy kill that took no effort.  In other words, a very boring and unchallenging fight just like how you claim "most fly".

aside from the fact that porking fields is boring, a horde can just as easily bring 5 sets of field supplies, and everything is back up.. you dont think they would spare 5 people for 5 minutes if it would keep their lousy basetaking horde rolling along?

my solution to hordes is just let them get bored with it..  you can only kill so many buildings in a day, and hover over a field who's hangars are all down so many times before you realize how silly it is... people eventually grow out of it, I think..

lol, you're memory is faulty Ack-Ack, seeing as I haven't hoed you more than once (might not even have been YOUR P-38) when I had a pack of planes chasing. And of course I'm going to step lighly around you, I acknowledge that you're a good pilot, if not a plesant person.
