I thought this was going to be some political thing about Obama and I was ready to roll my eyes.  Looking at it though, yeah, I agree.  Regardless of your opinion of him, he has yet to cement his place in history. 

However, IIRC, these designs have nothing to do with the U.S. Government, rather it someone else's opinion on it.  They look cool, but it doesn't really matter to me anyway,  I don't have any money!  Not to mention that 95% of my transactions are with a debit card, I rarely see bills anymore.

I saw that and I hate them. They look cheap and fake. I think the last one on that page would be alright but the colorful stuff gets a -1 from me.

If I wanted colorful money I would play monopoly.

Agreed. Of all of the men who have actually done things for this country, i.e. men like Roosevelt, we would put a guy who has not even served a single term in office yet, nor done anything particularly outstanding...

they look like crap to be honest.......and i think we really can't afford to be spending MORE money we don't have to redesign our money, then spend EVEN MORE money we don't have to re-tool to make this new redesigned money.

All I can say is that this must not be allowed to happen. This nation was built on a firm foundation; however, this type of corrosion will be able to take a big chunk out of the rock we're standing on.
