Have used both the analog and USB version of this stick.  If you are using the analog version,as you mentioned spiking, you will need to clean your pots.  Better yet get the USB digital version.  The new stick is great!!! Period!!!!

Hi,

Was wondering if u might have a :x36 config file for the stick to send me..im having problems mapping up the views correctly..it seems like the HATS are crossed in AH compared to X36 config program...

Cheers

In doing the views within the X36 program you have to go in and change the cobo(ieup-forward) view manually. From N5 : N8: to N5 + N8 :

Thx for all the help but the worst part didnt go away, spiking. So..i went out and bought me a Logitech Wingman Digital 3D and hooked it up via my CH Pro Pedals and then into the game port, SUPER! no spiking at al and the stick is awesome! (price aprox 44$).

Again thx for all the help.

1776,  are you using Rudder Pedals with the USB X36 sticks? If so which one?  I have my analog X36s up in the closet, thinkng of selling for the USB or just dusting em off and trying my luck again (ya know the sssssstickkyyyyyy  key)

Nope, no rudder pedals.  If ya like the X36 analog cep for the stickykeys, dirty pots,etc,etc.....don't get the usb version.

If ya wanta stick that does all you thought the analog stick was gonna do.... get the USB version.  Once I got a CD that downloaded SGE properly I haven't had a problem!!!  Now others have had problems.  I won't say it's perfect but I haven't had any problems, using windoze98se,ya gotta have the se for it to work right.  I guess there is a new version of the SGE, I haven't downloaded it and won't as scared will mess things up and if it ain't broke, why fix it

BTW have you tried digital asperin? http://www.just-saitek.co.uk/

Lotsa help there for analog and usb versions.

I have the same stick (analog x36 with trottle), and having some trouble with the views. Often when I look in one direction or
another I also slide to that side, i.e. looking left makes the "pilot" slide left
and out of center posision needed to see the crosshairs.
This is very annoying, especially during combat.
Anybody else have this problem or solutions?

hdmfox:

Digital aspirin is the program to stop unwanted keystrokes.  Can get it at justsaitek site.  Have you tried deleting the command and reprograming it?
 Good Luck
