« on: September 20, 2010, 06:05:11 PM »
I have recently taken interest in this plane, can anyone name some good books that arnt too hard to find?
I know there are lots of 109 fans on here so I though this would be a good place to ask

If you're just looking for some general knowledge (as in not trying to find out exactley what kind of radio a plane carried, exact dimensions of the canopy, etc.):

Model to model alterations, radio/photo recon variants, many many pictures, full color gallery, panel and compartment diagrams, dimensions of fuselage, deployment numbers, and some brief history.

Got my shipped from Barnes&Nobles for 25 bucks and had it on my door step within 2 days. Great plane, the 109. Good to see more enthusiasts.

I have "Messerschmitt Bf-109 Recognition Manual" by Marco Fernandez-Sommerau.  It breaks every variant down.
