20th FG skins

Hey guys. if you didn't know, my squad has recently changed name ti the 20th FG Loco Busters. i was wondering if someone could do the favor of adding P51 20th skins to the game? if not could someone help me with skinning birds? im asking for this favor because i personally have very little time to do these things. <S>

Unfortunately, the P-51s are very full.

I really do not want to see another P51D skin.  We have too many now to be able to rotate them in and out of the game.

However, there is a much more elegant plane available that already has two 20th FG skins.

Even if someone did the skin, it could be years before it is seen in the game, due to the overflow of skins we have for the P51's (B and D).

how many times have i told you, the P-38J is far superior in every way to the P-51!

skuzzinator's right, if the skin was created, it would take forever to make it in-game

although, in regards to the 38, we have the two skins from the 55th and 79th FS of the 20th, but we left out the 77th FS. the 77th was the most decorated of the three, and therefore i think it should be skinned. just my .02

I have "Happy Jack's Go Buggy" 90% finished.. but there is no reason the submitt it considering the state of the line ahead of it.

I hope HTC would consider quality and need for the skin as more important factors than when it was submitted, i.e., a finely-done 20th FG P-51D skin could leapfrog more poor efforts in the queue, especially if those are for FGs which already have skins in game.

I think the introduction of the early build P-51D (without tail fillet) and coffin-canopy P-51B would reinforce HTC's reputation for accuracy, and would double the available skin slots as well.  Currently the excellent P-51B "Shangri-La" and P-51D "Lou IV" skins are portrayed incorrectly on models with noticeable differences from the original.

Also HTC could tighten up the standards for accepting skins?   The P-51 queue could probably be thinned out by doing that.

Gotta be a solution somewhere.

I wish I'd finished one of the 20th FG P-51D's I'd started about four years ago, at least it would have been way up there on the to add list.

I'd gotten about 80% done with both 'Sneebo' and 'Dizzy Rebel' before I just got bored and never picked them up again.

Know we'll eventually get new skins for the pony, and I like almost all of them currently in there now

I think they should run a vote each time there are new skins about to be up loaded.

Post a message of the day in the arenas for a week reminding those that like certain skins to vote for them or loose them. Then open the voting with the 15 that are in now, and add say 5, maybe 10 more. Top 15 get in until the next skin upload.
