Your completely wrong, the game already has modules that adjust all of the variables. The apparent flaw is that "custom" modules are being written that have effects far beyond those intended. The "standard" module increases loading time by 10%...the "enhanced" version by significantly more.

Name one arty that can aim, load and shoot in 5 seconds.  One

Show me info where these "custom"  modules are being used.

By they way, it's "you're"
The standard module DECREASES loading time.

Can't complain about a free game. Just not cool. If someone gave you a free drink, would u complain about what it is?

Speaking for myself I have yet to die in the first 30 seconds due to arty. But I'm still playing in the lower tier ranks.
I suspect if anyone is going to figure out how to hack the arty reload I'm guessing he's going to be in one of the better tier SPG's pretty darn quick.

I've also pulled off a few 'blind' shots that connected. Ie see a tank at long range pull into a patch of brush. Then his icon goes away. I know he's still there, so I put 2 into the last place I saw him. Poof (I'm sure he was cussing.)

Overall, while I wouldn't mind seeing a few changes. Or having more options about what battles, against who, or even to being able to choose the map to play on.

Overall I'm happy, just bought my first week of premium, saving up for a month.
I've sold all the tanks except my AT-1, & current SU-76. Thinking about going to the T-46 for something a bit more mobile for a bit. That path would take me into the heavy's quicker than any other.

And I think I've learned enough I could survive longer as a scout now.

Steve....its ok if you think you are right all the time...we understand that a TV star like yourself just can't stand not being on the winning side all the time and we all know that. Its ok we concede that you are wrong and right at the same time and we all know that you just can't understand how this is possible since your just you.

Steve,

WOT has tremendous potential and a lot of innovations that are great. The "consumables" are a case in point. They allow you to modify everything from load time, to "seeing" the other guy, making your tank faster etc. From all the text chatter and whats on a few 3rd party bbs's the issue is further "adjusting" these modifications. After being on the receiving end a few times I just started running fraps for a bit. Sent 3 different clips in altogether...

From what I can tell loading speed and camo are the two most manipulated. Last one I sent is was a T-44 locked up with 2 other friendlies...literally "cloaked" mid fight at a range of less then 300 when he stopped.

I think the game is a blast. One had to be mindful that it's a game;  a long way from being a "sim".  :)

I haven't seen any cloaked tanks yet.  Oh wait... I wouldn't see them.   Heheh you know what I mean.

There is always the possibility of hacks. I'm reasonably sure there is at least one map hack out there because I've been hit by artillery even when no scouts or other enemies have come my way yet. So I don't rule out the possibility of a hack allowing faster reload times.

Saw a guy next to me killed as we were rolling off the spawn, last night. An enemy Hummel killed him, before the 75MM in my PzIV was finished loading. We had just started to roll, moved less than the length of my tank. Yes, it does happen.

The only way this happens is if you load the game later than the hummel. But this isn't what I said cannot happen.
In the above case, the game started several seconds before you loaded into the game and the guy in the hummel just fired into the spawn points. I've seen lots of artys throw a randow shell at the spawn once they load their first shell.

What I said is that no big arty can possibly shoot a round off within  5 seconds of the game starting... and they can't.

Played it for a week. Unloaded it. Liked the sighting interface, damage model was kinda neat. Biggest complaint I had was warping and cloaking tanks, and getting tossed in with upper level vehicles and used as cannon fodder.

Ran into a Pz.III, all he did was circle my 38T shooting me as he went around. Couldn't bring the turret around fast enough, couldn't out run him, dead. Then get the typical idiotic messages from him.

Not for me. Certainly not going to pay for it.

Steve, 99 times out 100, I'm one of the 1st 5 in the game. I do not load in late, I normally load in early. I know what I was, and it was a Hummel kill before I even had my 1st round loaded in a 75MM in a PzIV. You may want to believe it cannot happen, but it can happen and it does happen. Believe what you will, I know what I've seen.
