I have 2 of them. 1 is hacked and I use it to interface my switches ...see Sheperd's Simpit thread.
I'm not sure how you would use it as a stand alone unit. I can say that they are very user friendly and thier UI is well done.

I have an n52te...works great for FPS games...programmed a few macro's for AH onto it.
