Congratulations on the build...where did you get the barrel from?...what twist (1.9 ?)

Building them from scratch is way way way better than buying an off the shelf custom...

I have 7 of them and all of them are ground up builds...some on the budget end...others no budget...like that gun with the scope...

That thing prints close to a single MOA with hand loads (77 grain HPBT Sierra Match Kings)...that is my SPR/SDM sporting a an 18" tube at 1:7 from Denny...

Deadly accurate out to 500 meters

Masher you put the same slip on rubber grip thing that I have on my HK's...

Would you agree those things make all the difference in grip and feel...

I love those slip on's and even have back up units ready to go when needed...

The barrel is Daniel Defense 16" 1:7 twist, chrome lined. I added the muzzle from Yankee hill, but I should've went with the Vortex like yours  :aok

I actually had to sell one of mine & my 6.8mm upper to build this one, but it was worth it, and fun as hell.

P.S. are those the pinned mags?

The mag on the SPR is a 20 round mag pinned to 10 rounds...my state sucks...the gun looks gay when you use standard 10 rounders so I got some 20's from Brownell and pinned them...and put the Magpul floors on...

Can you spot the other anomaly in image 3? that is also a compliance issue?...its a subtle rule, but overt in the image...

Seriously though, I'll have to talk with you sometime.  I'm slowly saving up for an Ar-15, but it can be a little overwhelming looking at all the options.

Yea, the prince 50 button. I totally hate that. I went with the bullet button for mine, but still gay. I went with the pmags, they were installed with a block to 10 so it's not too obvious.

I had to use my carbines lower for the pic, because I had to wait the stupid 10 days for the current lower on it.

500 yard 12" x 18" suspended/swinging steel plate...at 12x magnification

Note the steel spinner target at 4 o'clock at 250 yards

How would you like to be sitting in the saddle with this sight picture loaded up with hand load 77 grain Sierra's ...and when you squeeze off it takes about 1 second from release to audible feedback from the plate ringing like a bell?...because light travels faster than sound....you can see the plate swing before you get the audible feedback...

That is rich....crack!!!..delay.....swing....gong!
