How about a pair of virtual sunglasses on the dash, my eyes hurt looking into the sun. Tried putting on real sunnies but didnt work.  Some virtual beer and devils spinach wouldnt go astray either.  I thank you in advance.

Not sure about all the sights but I know the german revi sights had a recticle dimmer like a dark piece of glass that could be flipped up over the gunsight for shooting into the sun presumably. You can use it in IL-2 but AH doesn't have one.

Far as Im concerned. the sun is the most accurately modeled thing in the game. I know this because it give the the exact same splitting headache I get when I look into the real thing too long.

Cept for the part where it can shine right through a clipboard or a map when Im trying to read it

Yep.I learned early on the clip board doesn't block the sun all that well.

 the only time i dont mind the sun is when i'm flying buffs, flying into the sun makes it alittle harder for the enemy to shoot ya down, i might as well make them stare at the sun while im being killed
