Please do not be kind to Ranger. It gets him all giddy and slows his work on new AVA terrains :D

The eagle flies up towards the sun
High above the fields of babylon
In one claw he holds an olive branch for peace
In the other, twelve arrows for his enemies

Since many years my sons and me have found hours and hours of great fun playing together Aces High in a quite old version, using the H2H option....  We like very much the game, but understandable we have no time to play on line.

I hope that this person find the answer he is seeking.   :pray

However, I am inclined to ask.... Does playing online take longer than playing by LAN?   If one has time to play on LAN, isn't it just as fast or faster to simply log-in and play?     :headscratch:

We had a similar request not too long ago from a guy setting up a lan for a Boy Scout event.

Thanks for the link Messiah, I couldn't remember the last version that supported H2H.

Max, you can download version 2124 at this link http://www.mediafire.com/?g450v30aaduq0n8
This was the last version that allowed 8 player LAN. The hires pack can be downloaded at this link if you run 1024 textures

For sure we have found much more than we expected thanks to you all again (but I will stop to thank you otherwise I'll be mawkisch)
I really don't know how much time it takes to play on line, but as I played time ago a game about sailing regattas (that was taking at least 45/60 minutes each manche) it was really boring when one or more competitors were leaving during the race for dinner. Well, I didn't want to do the same with other Aces High players. Perhaps is just that we ignore how it works really out there.
