Remember when McDonalds was all about burgers, frys, and shakes? We were just happy to be out of the house with the pocket change to go to MikyDees. It was exciting the few times over the years a new main entree was rolled out. Now McDonalds has gormet coffe, girly salads, MCnuggets, Mcfishies, McMousies, McFreeseeis, Mc anything for your buck....
And all anyone does is stuff their mouths with McKywhatever while compalining about TransFat, cholesteral, carbon foot print, red meat, evil greedy Mckey corp and on and on and on....while still walking in and dropping their dime for more McKeyDee time.
It was better when we never knew what new toy was getting packeged in each release. We trusted HTC to release new things. Then it was treated like a present instead of now like an entitlement. Entitlements are never appreciated or valued by the recipient. Instead of WoW thank you for the new plane. It's becomeing "what have you done for me latetly sucka" and "I wanna side a fries in Yak Butter with it yesterday"......
How many of you vets who scream at HTC exactly what has to be released to make you happy and fill out the historical whatever, never for second tollerated that kind of attitiude from your children because you wanted them to turn into good adults? And how many other parents children are watching you in these forums?
Pyro, everything you guys build is amazing. I remember in AW we would joke about what the game might be like 10-15 years in the future. AH is a living fantasy come true because most of those jokes are now standard technology. I wish people appreciated your work of art more. But, not many of them have the long term perspective to gauge your works evolution by.
