Been away for a long time..maybe 15 months and got the itch. When I left the Hellcat was one of my favorite even with the F/Up views. I'd love to come back to an F6F that did what it was supposed to do. The latest model did not make the war but what a ride that would be here. What's the ENY ...perk it 50?

Last pick just looks cool ;)

When given a choice, the MA vets are going to make the sensable choice for the place they spend 98% of their time. The MA.

Cannons, more than 4 50.s, power, or speed are the only things that matter in the MA. Untill all of the late war power rides are given up by HTC, they will never waste their votes for anything that is meaningful to scenarios.

If the Oscar and the G55 were already finsihed and could be loaded up tomorrow. And Pyro said vote for one to be released in 48 hours and the other will be released in 48 days. Which one would we be blowing ourselves away with in two days? Unless Pyro goes his own way, there is a very good chance the aircraft that most meets the criteria for the MA got the most votes at the MOTD today.

Being guys, you might take the old adage to heart which head we vote with when it comes to the illusion of self gratification or power.

Its going to be an American plane just like the last vote. The ones we really need will be taken out in the first round. Just a wild guess but I'm betting the A-26 will be the winner.

In all honesty that is just what we don't need in this game. I would really like to see the J2M Raiden or Ki-45, along with He-111 and either a Pe-2 or TU-2 instead of an A-26.

I still think we need a perked bomber which can do a bit more than just 'go quickly'.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

You realize the Ki-45 was a sub-par underperformer with a light armament, dogmeat to even P-40s, and that its only real claim to fame was late-war dual-purpose as a night fighter (something AH doesn't do) and a kamikaze plane (something AH doesn't do), and that it never saw service with the originally intended long-range-escort role it was designed?

Just checking.  :O
 :bolt:

The something AH doesnt do argument is invalid as there are several things that Ah "doesnt do" that we have things that did. And a bunch of things that werent or very very rarely done IRL that AH does

Regardless,We dont need night to have a night fighter. Its not like these planes NEVER flew during the day. But that most of their missions were done at night. Kinda like the Lancaster. Which we DO have.

And BTW. We have the ability to have nights. We had nights regularly. We still occasionally do have nights So to say that nights is something that AH doesnt do is less then accurate

I still think we need a perked bomber which can do a bit more than just 'go quickly'.

It seems that the speed category is the biggest deciding factor in assigning perk points, with firepower and ordnance capability thrown in for icing on the cake.  The B29 is going to be a Lancaster on steroids and hyped up on caffeine.  I still do not understand why a small perk has not been applied to the Lancaster, B24's, and B17's.  Between destructive capabilities, range, and defensive abilities between the 3, they are tops in the game for bring down ground targets.  Yeah yeah "they go down in flames when I go after them", etc etc etc.  But the fact remains those bombers abilities are quite impressive.

My preference would be for something that fills holes in the early planeset like the Ki43 or He-111. Early planes tend to have more interesting colour schemes to skin as well. However I can't see the MA crowd looking beyond the US uber planes, the A-26 and B-29. Maybe enough fighter pilots voting will swing it away from a bomber though.

I vote for no American planes.

The 29 should only be introduced near the end of AH's existence. When the game will and should end with the oft asked for nuke.

Seriously though. Me personally I'd love to have the P61 or A-26.
But in all honestly. We're way overloaded with American and British planes and their variants.

Its gunnery should be better too. although given the remote controlled lazer guns bombers already have. I dont think its possible

Bomber perks are pretty pointless for the way its set up now. the only perked bomber is the 234 and even with those who have a ton of bomber perks it remains a hangar queen.
Heres a suggestion No cost for taking a single bomber up. But make flying a formation of them perked. After all in no other planes to you  essentially get 3 lives.

Really disappointed to see the P-61 not in the poll, I really wanted to skin some more black planes. Not to mention it looks sexy with invasion stripes. So I guess the Beau gets my vote.
