how can it kill the game? if the B29 is setup with no formations, the load out won't be as much as a formation of lanc's flown by one pilot, if they want 3 B29's in a formation then they will need 2 more people to fly the other two planes

+1...there are many ways to make it fit without "Aces High Armageddon".

I see 2 opposite theories of what the b29 will do..

1. it will unbalance the game too much -- too high, too fast, too much ords

2. it's not so special, it's a sitting duck, most people wont use it right, don't sweat it.

the way i see it, both reasons are why I voted against it. Because either it's uber, and you'll never see one except as a tiny dot 35000ft above your base because very few will bother to intercept it, or it's just another bomber, in which case, I ask wtf is it gonna do that the other heavy bombers we already have can't??


ohwell, I think i am with the others that say "any new additions to the game are good". we will live with it.

Anyone else having flashbacks from a couple months ago and the new mossie threads? 

3x B-29s, 3x times the perk points of a single B-29.  It probabley won't be cheap, so I have no problems with B-29 formations, let them use up those perkies.

There's a lot of assumption in that... maybe "old subscribers" have voted B-29 too? There are buff guys among them too.

I was subscriber for 5 years and would have voted B-29 too

This argument of "we don't need this plane because X plane can do it's job" is invalid because the plane-set is large enough that any plane can sub for another aircraft. All the planes in the voting poll have another aircraft that could do their job so in the end it doesn't really matter.

WHILE i'm glad that you guys got what ya'll wanted....i cannot think of an ah time that i've been less excited. i almost would have preferred to see another spitfire over this.

Just another plane that will be used to dive bomb with. Everyone will fly it when it first comes out. Then like all other new planes, everyone will abandon it for their main rides. It will take the place of the lancs. But that about all it will do. Oh and stir up whines about the "nuke". So prepare for the whine fest.

i don't....i just felt this perverse need to reply in this thread. i only fly the ava now, and i don't think they;ll be using that in there any time soon.....
