Dear God I know ... I got pretty lucky. I did primer/base outside and rented a booth for the clear. The ironie was that this booth filter was poorly maintaned I think. I spent 1.5H cleaning the car but when I started shooting after turning the fan on, small black lint started flying around and landing on the car. Sometimes despite ur best efforts, u just can't win  :cry

That car is a 20 footer, but the paint is actually pretty good, not too much crap flew in the paint that I couldn't fix. I did have a buterfly the size of my hand  land in the black. Had to sand and repaint. No sweat. This 78 is like ur 74, must bring back memories.

it kind of does. i really haven't seen a mustang i don't like.

the 74-78's got a bad rap. they are very good cars, and are very solid. this car will be loads of fun for your daughter, and it will also keep her very safe in the event of an accident.

she is a very lucky girl to have a father such as you.  :aok

I can fix a computer, but don't know anything about cars.
I found that fascinating.

Lol ,for such a small engine mine is actually fairly fast, I have street raced a few newer cars and kept even with em and won some lol.  I should be getting Dodge Charger SRT8 soon, which I would kill for lol :)

and onc it passed about 60 to 80k miles, you'd want your left nut back.

you then are the exception. you've no idea how many of those dam things i work on with things that seem to have failed prematurly.

one of the worst was an 01 passat 2.8L non turbo. 82k on the clock. had to replace all four car......they;re sold as assemblies per side. the d/s went bad first....in the end of the winter. i told them to expect the other side to go shortly thereafter. sure enough, it did....in the middle of the summer. those things ain't cheap for them either.

i could go on, but this thread's not about that......
