Very cool, lucky kid.  I'd fire the barber though.   :rofl

Excellent job Frenchy - cracking result on the car,  your daughter is a lucky girl (good man, always good to do great things for your kids :salute)

Outstanding video Frenchy, and what a perfect first car for your daughter.  If she fancys she can get into working on it herself, or hopefuly at the very least between the both of you keep it around long enough for it to be that little man who wandered into the video to eventualy inherit it as his first project car.   :aok

Nice Frenchy,I'm sure it means more to her than if you just bought something off the lot!

Although not Ford's greatest car, that 2.3 is a solid little motor and like you said "it get about 30mpg" and looks cool.

All it's missing is a "SuperBee" decal but that might be sacrilege,it would suit the car. :aok

taurus is a good car.

And here, all this time, the French have been doing it all wrong.  If the rest of them got their acts together and started putting together quality vintage automobiles for people, the world would be fighting over who would get to surrender themselves to them first.

my first was a automatic 97' escort that barely ran. I would need to drive in low gear up to about 25-30 mph and then switch it to drive so that hopefully the the transmission would skip over second gear completely, which was totally screwed. If not then the car wouldn't accelerate and I would have to come to a complete stop, then we try it again.    :o
