Has anyone ever notice when you get inside of 200d the plane you are chasing starts flopping around all over the place. Littel hops and wiggles you don't even see at 400d with full zoom. And don't even try to put your nose on them at 100d. You correct up they pop down. You correct left or right and it's almost like their aircraft is now connected to your joystick with the bands reversed. They suddenly get the opposite wiggels to your nose direction.

Reminds me of puppies and over excitable dogs that almost bang themselves in the side of the head wiggling their hind end side to side. If you pull back past 200d they suddenly settel down and all the wiggling and hopping around goes away. But, then someone usually shoots them over your shoulder or killshoots themselves just when they forgot to check six you and the cons freind solves all your wiggel problems with a lazer beam in your wiggler.

I've noticed that after coming back.

Along with the fact that the whole MA has been trained by Paccerrrr on being a timid run tard using 'IRL" tactics in a combat simulation game.
I fall asleep so often that I bought a new pillow to put in front of my keyboard.

Maybe that is because the movement approximation smooths the visual movement but after 200 or something you start to receive more packages about your target's movement and if those contain irregularities or are simply missing, which is the most probable cause, you start to see flopping around.

I had an idea similar to your response but, I had hoped to make fun of it rather than have a cardiac over some of what scotch has observed. Personaly I have a jell pillow for my tushy for those long boring tail broken floats to the deck. I'm finding if I look for the joke of the day in every action I'm involved with in the game, it's not a bad spent $14.95 a month for the comedy amature nights. I cannot convince anyone I know Nate really exists outside of a SitCom.

It just started getting hillarious not being able to line up directly behind a con at 50 yards. If I moved left it litteraly pushed the cons rendering to the right. If I slowed down it seemed to suck the con closer. I couldnt get rid of the thing so I could shoot it down. Then a P38 dropped in between me and the con pushing me back just in time to let me blow one of my gear off. And my forward motion started pushing the green guy into the con and they collided.

Then the con flew through 3 guys HOing and snap shooting him with A5's and landed 3 kills.

I think the game has a very hard time allowing several cons to try and exist inside of a 100 yard ball of virtual space together. Escpecially if two of the cons are throwing lead at one of them with all of the problems we know about virtual positions versus real positions when it comes to collisions. It's kind of like filming an epesode of the KeyStone Cops hopping around in circles as an earthquake jiggles the set. Wow did the earth move for you too or where you just happy to see me<---bad humor I know.

I noticed this back in 97.  The severity of it depends on 3 things

1) What
2) who
3) where

I haven't really had a problem with it in years.  On the rare occasion it actually gets in the way of a kill I just back off 100-200 yards and let things settle in a bit.

Of course in a packed LW arena it might be more of a problem.

The more things there are, and the closer they are, the more quickly information is trasmitted to/from your PC.  If someone's connection and computer aren't able to process all that info, the result is what you're seeing.  Same reason why certain people warp just as you start shooting at them from D200-400.

Guys, my network is gigabit, my hops are 8 with an 84 RT, my FPS stays at 60 no matter what happens. My system has grunt like King Kong chasing Fay Wray. You need a urine sample to check for testostrone levels?????

The funnier point is how seriously all of you are taking this stoopid story and assuming the worst about my system. I'm finding it amusing as h&ll the closer I get to a con inside of 100d the more exaggerated it wiggles. My FPS never dips. I just have to back off a bit so it can wiggle through my bullet stream if no other bad guys are chomping on my kester.

See how seriously you are taking something not related to making your living or actualy defending your family or your life. This is a game that no one wins $1M at the end of the month. Few of you have much of a sense of humor about this cartoon bar brawl. Thats why you missed the humor in the story and went for the none existant problems.

$14.95 for amature comedy central and I don't have to get out of my fuzzy bunnie slippers. 20 years of this game and only the names change. The serious discussions stay the same inside of this cartoon game. I could probably create a PhD thesis based on 20 years of observing the growth of this game from AW to the present.
