Here is one everyone will agree on .......WE NEED MORE MAPS!!!  Real WW2 Maps would be great, like England , France,Germany ,Russia , Africa, Aussie and the  Phil Island. With Googles new images of the world it would make it easy to make.

also maps for the Main arenas need to be relatively even for 3 sides. That leaves out most "historical" battle fields.

oh and I don't agree we need more maps, we just need better game play on the one we have.

For 3 years it has been the same maps in Orange , Blue and TT days. If a few Players has made good maps then HTC needs to put them in play.

It's not as easy as you would think.  I believe there were some almost finished, then HTC changed the strat system amongst other things graphics-wise and maps had to be scrapped and re-worked.

updated version of mindanao has come back in the last few months also.

There are 12 main arena maps. I'm not sure of the rotation schedule, but Skuzzy had posted it once. Each map is a "good" map. They all have their plus and minuses much like each plane or vehicle does. Just because you don't like a map doesn't mean its not a good map. Small maps are about a meg download, while the large maps are just over 3 megs. By adding "snow" and other things it will increase the downloads. HTC has ALWAYS been very conscious of file size and has always tried to keep it small. We had a desert map (AKDesert) with all of the browns and blacks and many people complained it gave them headaches, maybe green is just more soothing.

Again, there is nothing wrong with the maps, its the game play or many people on these maps. Dweebish behavior is what spoils the fun, not the maps.

Still would love to see a desert map in the MA.  Can't fault me for that.   I'd still kill to see an MA version of the Twin River's Map.

As for historical maps, best to head to AvA.  They USUALLY use an historical map for their setup's.
