This B-24 received just "one ping in the middle of the wing" from beyond 5k+.  I wonder if the pilot and crew were thinking "This just doesn't seem right" at the time.

I'm convinced. We need the dual barrel 3.7 cm Flakzwilling 43 as the manned feild gun. Our 3.7 cm FlaK 43 has an effective AA alt of 15,000 feet and a horizontal range of 8700 yards. Flakzwilling would be twice the fun.......And hows about manned 40mm Bofors with the Stiffkey Sight........

we dont have 8700 yds horizontal in game... I've measured at sea level using .target and I got 4725 yds,  which corresponds to the max distance I can get kills with it.
