maybe we should help noob 2-weekers?? turn them into paying players

yeah i know this wont sit well..but how many times have you heard some whining noob that talks too much and has to tell you every little thing hes doing...or ask a zillion questions....only to be squelched or told the answer is ALT+ F4.......and then he does his two weeks and is gone forever?   maybe 2 weekers after choosing a country are put into a squad automatically....at random on the side they pick.with the hope that the squadies will tell him on day one to be quiet, and maybe give him some pointers.at the end of2 weeks he can be released by the squad and either be gone forever or stay and pay. this would keep more free noobs and turn them into paying players and expand squads.the hope for squads would be by teaching the new guy,they get another squadie that in the future they can rely on. i know this is probably nothing new,but i see alot of OLD dogs here have NO patience for noobs.maybe thats a contributing factor in the lower numbers of players???

Give them scoring tips.

second. not every single Devil's Brigade member is bad. i've flown with all of them before in joint op raids etc and most are very good people. some i will say are not on the top of my list but i refrain from saying names.

its exactly why the numbers are so low. I wouldn't want to come into a game with everyone acting like they are on their period. I'd go find something else.

I was in the MWA today helping some guy learn to bomb. Spent about 2 hours doing it and I believe we now have a lifer. It's all in how some of these idiots who play act.

You are auto logged into an Arena when you start and taught the basics of the game. People on their 2 week get slotted in here with other two weekers. When you have done a certain time in here or achieved a certain objective. You graduate into MA and then join the action.

Of course it includes a few furballish fights in this "Noob" arena before you join into the MA.

Its gonna get flamed bad.

But its an idea.

When i was a nooblet (im still ) i could study the most from the experienced players. They were patient enough to duel or/and wing me, and i think its still the best was to educate new guys. Of course, only if they are mature enough.

Training and a furball = Grabbing their intrest

A few kills against equal skilled players = Ego boost and drive to get more.

Joining MA = Chaotic fun

all this results in paying customer.

Thats my idea with this noob arena.

just before the noob arena opens, think about how many "new" players would actually be there?  what would you think when You see the "you will fly against 100's of players" message and log in to find 2 maybe 3 people there, how much fun will that be?  just let Hitech handle the business part of the game.

     I was trying to answer a noob's questions tonight, but he didn't want to hear it from me.  Why does the responsibility
for someone else's fun depend on longtime flyers?  When I started back in 1990, not like anyone held my hand, but
amazingly enough I didn't wet my pants and quit when it wasn't immediately easy.

     I'm all for helping out, but babysitting is not what I signed up for.
