Being a fan
« on: December 06, 2010, 09:55:49 AM »
I was on the phone today with my little brother who is stationed in Georgia, and he asked me what I was doing today. I told him I was getting ready for the game tonight. He asked sarcasticaly "Just what do you have to do to get ready for THE GAME?"

It got me wondering, how many football fans out there do their part for their team. For a non-fan its got to sound crazy. I watch all the hype stuff on espn, nfl.com, etc. When it comes to game time though is when it gets interesting. I dont believe in bigfoot, ghosts or ufos. However, come game time, Im as superstitious as a Salem resident in the witch hunt days.

I always sit on the same spot of the couch, unless they are playing crappy. Then I stand and see how that goes. Im totally into the game, and use all my mental powers to make sure they stay in it. I know it sounds looney as heck, but Im just THAT into it. Anyone else as whack as I am when it comes to football?
