As an Air Warror Vet I can say this.

AW's WW1 arena was always way under-populated, just like here.  AW's Korean war arena was much the same.  just not enough interest.  Its not much of a war with less than ten people.  My thoughts:  Keep the WW1 arena if you want.  Its already here, but don't waste the resources and time on Korea.  Put it all into making WW2 even better.

On the other hand I think "1946" would be a hoot.

Hey Box <S>.  Maybe my memory is not as clear as it could be but I flew AW Korea pretty much exclusively after it opened untill the game itself shut down.  I must disagree with you about the low numbers there.  Very late at night it was pretty sparse but there was always plenty of action during the day and I personally enjoyed the arena very much.  I am actually not advocating for a Korean arena nor against one.  HTC will make a business decision that involves alot more information than I am privy to.  I respect his decisions and will find plenty of fun no matter where or what I fly in this most excellent of games.   :rock

I like the idea for a Korean War arena better than a WW1 arena because you'd still have the option to fly many WW2 airplanes, and even get some of the later variants that didn't see action in WW2.

I think the problem with the AW KW arena was that jets were always enabled.  I'd prefer to see them perked, and have the base of the arena remain prop planes.  I'm probably in the minority.

I remember the korean arena in AW.  It was a constant battle of blackouts and stalls.  Not really that much fun for me.  I would love to see us go backwards, rather than forward in modeling.  Ki-43, Cr32 and 42, Hawk, He-111, etc....  :salute

LOL My memory is slipping too.  But I still don't recall much support in the AW Korean area.  I started there in'94 and flew it off and on until it died.  I never recall flying Korea.

AW Korea and AW3 Korea both rocked.  There was plenty of action.

its different from constant furballs in WWI. there would actually be a reason behind jets and there can be alot of prop planes in there also with a style of gameplay like the MAs. I'm all for Korea.

Nope it would be a good idea actually. Though "1946" MA sounds better xD.
