Ive had it. The behavior of 800nate at the 135 spawn point last night was outrageous. He kept throwing smoke all over the spawn in front of all  the rook players for no other reason than he could. Everyone on the Rooks at that spawn point told him to stop ad infinitum to no avail. How long must we have to put up with this type of behavior from a 10 year old kid who's parents apparently let a compuer act as a baby sitter? Please HTC listen to our complaints and take some action against this. Anyone at the pawn who witnessed please feel free to put in your two cents.

EZRhino

You should film it and send it to HTC and let them deal with it.  Posting on the forums about it is going to do nothing other than get this thread locked and either Skuzzy or HiTech telling you to take this up with the via email or PM.

This is sure to be locked.  I can see where certain actions can cross the line of "his $15" to the point where a player intentionally attempts to ruin others game play.  I would advise the best thing to do is send a complaint to htc.  If enough are received, I would imagine action would be taken.

Did you idiots ever think that if you layed off Nate he might be a bit easier to get along with.

How do you lay off some one that's beating you over the head with a bat while constantly swearing in your ear at the same time? I've never met him, but that's the impression I'm getting here, and my impressions are usually right...

For the most part, yeah. I went to the Rooks for a couple minutes the other day and heard him... I thought he was a 13 year old sailor.

Rhino, I'll have a talk with him here in a day or 2. I realize you're mad and I can't say as I blame you. He does get overbearing and down right obnoxious at times. I winged up with him for a few sorties last night and if I hadn't been drinking I probably would have told him off then myself.

Let me explain. I felt that Nate was getting a hard time from alot of older players, (which I know he brought much of it on himself), so I lobbied to get him into the 39th in hopes that if he flew with some older more laid back adults he might shape up into a pretty good player. The kid is gunho as hell and he's all about diving in a dukeing it out, which I like. I figured he was going to be a challenge to straighten out. The fact is I just haven't had a lot of time to log in to play here lately with school and all, so he's pretty much just been flying around doing his own thing i.e. getting into trouble :uhoh

I don't want to see TwinBooms squad or members of it, get trashed on the BBS, especially if I'm the one that recruited the problem to begin with. Just give me some time to have a talk with him and get his side of what's going on here. I apologize if he caused you any grief by his actions or behavior. We'll see if we can't get this taken care of. He's just young and a bit high strung.  :salute

Normally I'd agree with that approach, but he REALLY seems to deMAND to be noticed, and to MATTER in what goes on....and when those things don't happen, it's an unpleasant time online for those in his vicinity. (Noone would join his mission, in this case)  Reminds me of the old Star Trek episode from the 60's where the kid took the Enterprise and her crew so he could have a toy to play with :lol

:lol BJ I remember that episode. I can see the similarity :rofl Last night he wanted to go pork a base that our CV was going to. I said ok, loaded up with ord and hopped on the RW. He says, "No take off from hanger"   Ok then I towered out, came back in the hanger, fired the plane up and he wanted me to taxi up to him and shut the engines off, then fire up each 38 engine separately ...umm yeah, rgrfoxdawg that ghostrider will do. :lol So we're heading to the field and he wants to pork the VH and fuel :huh I said no we're going to pork the ord and dar, come back and get the SB :devil
We did that and everything went smooth from there on. The point is he was trying to take command of the situation and I let it be known that this is what we're going to do and he did it without complaint. He did good too I might add. He just needs some guidance and someone to let him know he's part of something....that's all it is.

My goodness, he's just a lil kid trying to play a game and matter at something. I'd much rather see any kid doing that then standing on a street corner smoking dope and stealing hubcaps.
Is shooting smoke at a spawn point really what's important here? Yeah Nate is a brat, but all in all I think there is a pretty good kid in there somewhere. Do we as adults really need to bash and flame a 12yo kid on these boards? Cmon guys ............

I agree with Uptown there are plenty of bases to attack if the kid gets outa hand. My motto is kids should be seen and not heard. You can always squelch the kid and avoid channel 200. I my self avoid kids in games even on PS3 games I hear a kid given orders I leave. The one thing in on line games you bash a kid they don't go away they come right back at ya and say are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet. Leave them alone and the problem will go away. My daughter would always look at me when she fell to see if I would come running and if I did the tears would flow and if I stood there and watched her she would bite her lip get up and walk away none the worse for wear. Film it record voice and send it in simple as that.
