We have..

the Brewster B-239 - a model that only saw about 44 delivered and scored fairly little. The P-39, which was rejected by most as a dogfighter (though some pilots scored many successes). The I-16, useless cannon fodder completely outclassed by the 109's, P51s and Spits we see in MA. We have the Wirble and TA-152s, of which both only saw ridiculously small service and production. I dont think the TA-152 scored a kill. And the Spit 16 one of the most used AC in AH2, got about 5 or 6 kills before the end of ww2.

Sooooo. an aircraft that was built in the range of 240 airframes, with cannon and MG, and is the only fighter aircraft solely built and designed in that country, WHICH made a significant contribution in the Pacific war and has been requested by players for a long duration. And a significant chunk of the playerbase hails from the country in question. And remains in a unique spot in history. Is not to be added?

I think it needs to be added soon. The Beaufighter was outvoted by the ME-410, and yet its been requested so many more times than the 410. It seems a bit injust that we have sooooo many planes from so many nations, even Finland, Romania and Italy, which had just a big an impact as Australia have their aircraft in game.

We want ours too!

For what it's worth, the 16 got many more kills then 5 or 6.  The surviving 16 at Manston has 3 to it's credit and there were a lot more 16s then just that one :)

can you provide actual proof that it scored more than 1 kill? just showing up to a battle doesnt give it a right to be added.
No it never scored an air to air kill. That aside with it's ground attack record & the rules for inclusion to AHII it meets all of the requirements.

It is the only Aussie designed, built and flown combat aircraft in history. And as a good chunk of the player base, either this or the Beau fighter would be a great addition.

Not quite correct on this one.
Also this aircraft did have air to air kills.

the Brewster B-239 - a model that only saw about 44 delivered and scored fairly little.

Brewster B-239, a de-navalized F2A-1, 44 of which were sent to Finland but virtually the same airframe as the B-139, B-339, and B-339-23 for all other exports, and F2A-1, F2A-2, and F2A-3 for US service. Total airframes built 509.

With respect to service and combat, the 44 Finnish B-239's are credited with downing 477 Russian aircraft with losses of just 19 Brewsters, a remarkable ratio of 26:1. Brewster B-239E airframe number BW-364, flown by several pilots, was credited with 42.5 kills, more than any other single airplane in the history of air warfare.[/quote]

The P-39, which was rejected by most as a dogfighter (though some pilots scored many successes).

Just as the P-40 was rejected as a dogfighter by nearly every country that used it with the exception of a handful of pilots who used it with relative effectiveness.

P-39's were used with great success in dogfighting roles by Soviet pilots.  Aleksandr Pokryshkin was the third highest scoring allied ace of the war and accumulated almost all of his 53 air-to-air victories in P-39s, fighting primarily against Me-109's and FW-190's. Incidentally, the highest kill totals by any pilots ever to fly any US built aircraft in any theater of combat in the history of aerial warfare? Russian pilots flying P-39's.....
