What gets me shot down 75% of the time, is me doing something stupid.  The worst part is 90% of that time I even knew better. :lol

This game is like cranberry juice. You take a big sip, make a funny face, and put the bottle immediately back into the fridge.

Then within ten minutes, you're back at the fridge taking another sip, making another funny face...

And the cycle goes on.

... Or maybe I just don't have much of a selection of drinks  :uhoh

Actually, it's a lot like golf.  When you first start playing it's hard to do anything right, but then you get a lucky drive, a decent putt, or a nice pitch out of a sand trap and it makes you want to keep going.  Then there are days when you're landing birdies left right and center, and the next minute you're hitting every water hazard within a 1000 yard radius. 

ACM...it's like Golf with cannons.

Well I've been spending a lot of time with the drones. I was on for four hrs today in a P38. This was after getting my but kicked on line so I took my air rage out on the drones. I kicked butt though after my sixth or so rearm, I swear one of those things shot at me, I heard a hit and my left engine started smoking????. Anyway as soon as I break down and buy a mike and headset, I'll head to the training area. The more I got on there six , and the more I blew them out of the sky, I realized that they are a lot like me when on line....That's bad, I may change my onscreen name to DRONE or La Drone. LOL...

The one thing I cant seem to find out is how to view my own films I save after each flight. I have about forty or so and would like to view them if I could find out how to do it............

You didn't say what operating system you have, but I have XP and this is how you get it going in XP.

You first have to associate the ahf files with the film viewer. Go to start/programs/accessories/windows explorer. Use that to navigate to the HTC folder where the game is. On my computer it at C:\Program Files\HTC\Aces High II\films. double click on any of the films and it should open a window asking you what program you want to use to open the file. Click the "browse" button and in the Aces High II folder will be a file called "ahfilm.exe" click on it and this will associate the films to the film viewer. Before clicking OK, be sure to click the "always use this for this type of file" button.

I also right click on the "ahfilm.exe" file and click on the "create a shortcut" selection. Then I drag and drop the new shortcut to the desktop. This way when I want to watch films I have the short cut on the desktop, and the film viewer has a browse feature to find the films so you don't have to hunt them down everytime you want to play them.

Is it relatively easy to take someone's canned, offline mission and plug in different planes? Lots better than target drone practice, I should think
