A few years back I was flying knight heading to a Rook field and saw a Rook NOE mission heading in the direction of a Bishop field that was just a short distance across the water. I PM'd a friend that was flying on the Bishop country at the time and told him the Missions location. Is this spying?

Oh hell, I've seen missions headed from one enemy country to the other and warned the country about to be attacked right on 200 a few times.
More often then not. My warnings have been ignored. LOL

Why not restrict cross country communications and lock out country changes for 30 days to help ease the increase of "spying" that goes on in the late war arena. I am really getting tired of working together with a good group and having ourselves organized to make captures only to have it thwarted by obvious spying in the game. Those that cant get organized or play well have resorted to this type of action to derail another country's gains. I believe if a player changes contries he should not be able to change again for thirty days. Also, restrict cross country communication to help disrupt the guys that set up new 2 week accounts to spy with. This is a game and we have several talented people that enjoy the thrill of tactics and skill. Spying (another word for cheating) is not a respectable endeavor for any player to engage in and should be made harder to do. Another need to help prevent this is all players in a squad should not be allowed to change their country unless the squad as a whole changes. I know I was killed on a mission recently by a squad member that is normally rook, he was bishop that day and his squaddies were rook. Really need to address this issue.

and shades accounts are better?

Sounds ok to me lambo.  The sick individuals take info that is only available in country and spread it to another country with the sole intent of ruining another group of individuals fun. breaking the code of moral conduct and sabotaging gameplay.

This gives me an idea.

Erect a gallows at the country strat.  People caught will be hung and the only thing they can do in game for a week is log on and see the strat from their 'hung' perspective.  They can't die they can just hang there swaying in the breeze and watching the text buffer.  That'll show em  :devil

On a serious note.  No matter what anybody says, does, requests, demands, or whines about it's still going to happen.  'Right' or 'Wrong' aside people who do it are very low grade individuals in my book.

If it doesn't concern your side, technically it's spying.  But then this is just a game, so who cares?  People get way to bent out of shape over the stupidest things...

So telling you that

- there is less spying than usually is being claimed
- that shutting down cross-country communication and greatly restricting side switching is not hurting any actual "spies" but only the game community as a whole

is having no integrity?

PROVE please.

Actual proof, not antecdotal, guessing, spitballing, wondering, pondering, etc.

Use all the charts, graphs, etc. you need...but prove those statements.

Because if I can't switch sides to find a fight, I log off.
If I couldn't have friendly chat or banter with the opposing side, the game would lose a lot of its appeal to me.

Why don't you prove them to be false?  Oh wait, you can't.

logically impossible. this is a real world problem so any attempt to model it will use observation/evidence. therefore there is no formal proof for it.

these are theories, lets hear yours.

How about a sworn affidavit?

I solemnly swear, that while I do change sides in order to find better fights (ie. more red guys than green),
I never give away info that may effect the side I have just left. CV positions will never be disclosed by this
individual as he prefers CVs to be active. I have never used cross country comms to give info on the country I'm flying for.
Signed newz this 4th day Jan 2011.

B)  Use 200
I'd rather not see 200 filled with a bunch of folks saying "hey how u doing man?", "good how bout u" "did u watch
the hockey game last night?" ect. There's enough spam on 200 already.
