The Map Fix
« on: January 10, 2011, 02:34:18 PM »
There's been a constant theme on the boards here for 6 or 8 months if not longer, about the maps. Whether it be the size, layout, rotation...etc. HTC has been listening to the complaints and suggestions and have been changing things up, but that seems to bring even more frustration. At least that's the way it appears to me.

They, (HTC) haven't raised the price to play in the 5 or 6 years I've been paying. Now I'm just as tight as the next guy when it comes to forking out cash, but I wouldn't mind paying 4,5 or 6 more bucks a month more if they'd hire somebody to make maps. Hell, a dollar a day would be cool by me. I spent more then that as a kid playing pinball.

All kind of things can get done if a company has money. I've seen all kinds of whine threads but not too many "here's some cash, make me a map" threads.

Some would say raising the price would run players off. I disagree. Sure it'd weed out a few, but it'd more then likely bring back even more old customers. Advertising, WW1 developed more, skins, planes, gvs....who knows.

I'm not sure if that would work out, because Unfortunately pricing is a very sensitive area, these days even more than ever before. And this game is becoming for more and more people just another game, not a child's dream come true like it is for us old enthusiasts. Having a considerable higher price than other games around might not be the best idea... but I'm just guessing ;)

Does HTC have a donation bar? If not they should defff get one. They can use the paypal donation option
I would DEF. donate. To get people interested in it they could have a board for members who donated and put the amount next to it? :D  :airplane:  :airplane:

Really? That strikes me as funny seeing as how you spend most of your time in the low populated arenas. I suspect you wouldn't give a rats arse if there were only 4 people in the game. You'd probably prefer it that way.

Pure genius.

Not really. This is a terrible idea. Way to be lousy.  :neener:
