I read a news artical the other day that stated in 2010 Facebook had more traffic than Google.......My wife loves it, she  keeps in touch with friends all over the  country. Personally i think she just likes being like Mrs Kravitz from Bewitched  :D

i personally like myspace better, it had alot cooler customizable options. but after "the social network" came out, all my friends ran off to facebook, which pretty much forced me to go there too. i miss myspace tho  :(

I tried Facebook for about 6 months and found it was only usefull if you wanted to know who got high scores on the range of games they have. I originally thought it would be a good way of keeping in touch with family and friends around the world but sadly not much of that happened, the only things I found out were that my brother needs some wood to make a barn in farmville.
I no longer visit the site and deleted all of the lists I had there.

In terms of value, $50 billion is much too high, but I would put it higher than the $1.5 billion stated in Forbes last year.
The 1.5 billion in Forbes last year wasn't what Facebbok was worth, it was what Mark Zuckerberg was worth, and he only owns I believe it's 5 or 6% of the Facebook shares.

He's the youngest billionaire in the world at I believe 26.

I absolutely hate those score updates for the games people play on there, but if you just hit the X at the right of those post you can set it so you never see those again, that cleared a lot of waste up.

I've found Facebook really useful, I get to see whats going on with family members lives that I might not have the chance to talked to all the time, so I always know whats going on with them now, plus I found a lot of old high school friends & old girlfriends I thought I'd never hear from again, so for me Facebook is a great tool.

Why? Because what I'd say would probably offend Trigger. That, and I like topics
to stay on topic. I love how you call me a fool, it gives my ribs a good stretch laughing
at you like that.

Regarding facebook, I stinking hate their chat and I'm rather angry that they forced
me to have the new profile with no option of going back. Other than that, I like being
able to keep in touch with old friends, while making a new one every now and again.
Awesome way to keep up with events around my area too. Going to an Alaska SCCA
Rallycross event this Saturday, thanks to Facebook

Remember that AOL was once valued at $166 billion (before the TW merger). It is now at $2.5 billion (and falling).  Like Facebook, many thought that AOL was once the center of the universe.  Something else always comes along.  Or, in the case of AOL, your product becomes obsolete.
