You;
1)   Said the B-25 would out fight an A-20 and offered a 1v1 to prove it. Against Ack-Ack.
2)   Put a CV of sorts out there that portrayed you as a Corsair “John Wayne” in the DA.

I;
1)   Noted that with the limited experience I have both with the 2 planes concerned and with limited fights against Ack-Ack in a 2 engine plane your chances were pretty dim.
2)   Put forward my thoughts that your opinion of yourself in the DA wasn’t what I had seen.

Now if you have a film where you have bettered me in a Corsair v Spit, please PM with it so I can put it into context. If you have belted me I’ll admit it and won’t send you the accounts for any counselling I may need. Don’t post it – it’s tacky and people have got better things to do than to view it although I’ll post and PM you if I’m wrong. Happy to be proven wrong – I won’t need to sleep with the light on.

And don’t come back to me with a 1v1 challenge either. I have one rule in 1v1 – no rules. You take whatever plane, load out or even skin from one base and I’ll do the same from another. The guy that doesn’t get shot down or auger wins that encounter – that encounter.

That being said, back to the B-25’s mastery of the A-20. I don’t know how many times i have grossly underestimated that plane usually to my doom or heavy damage,

uh, we did 1v1, and you lost, proven by the pictures ive presented. if you want the film just tell me how to upload it to use on the forums, and i will happily be glad too.

I prefer 3ups 1 v 1 rules and as a loyal squadmate would like to see this duel (nudges 3up with a stick, saying "go on mate") I am sure he will spank the piss out of you before AKAK has his shot. Go ahead make my day.

No Phatz – thanks for the vote of confidence but I’m not challenging Ack-Ack, I’m willing to accept a challenge from Tyrannis though.

I’ve come up against Ack-Ack and my reaction half way through the encounter was like that cartoon from the 60’s where the dog says “Which way did he go George? Which way did he go? – Just Googled that – still makes me laugh!

And that’s not an ankle hump – just an honest appraisal – and this isn’t about me anyway – it’s about the Super Mitchell in the hands of Tyrranis

My expectations, hopefully, will never exceed my ability.

As for the rest, Tyrrannis has come out swinging and has to back it up – twice it seems.

And “Corsair Duke” a 1v1 means a 1v1 not as a part of a furball. It’s all about perspective and context. PM me on date and time, let this one rest for a minute and get back to telling us all about how the B-25 belts the A-20.

actually no, I wasent the one who "came out swinging" first. ack-ack did by calling me a bad pilot when he's never flown against me, or with me. i had enough respect for him before to not insult his piloting skills even tho i'd never flown with him, but not anymore.

i havent backed down from his 1v1, im just waiting for him to name a time/date.

and ive had much success in a b25c, including shooting down a20s in the LW and even bostons in the EW. i believe its the better plane. and i'll prove it to the best of my ability.

When were these kills made in LW arena?  So far you have no kills against an A-20 in a B-25C in the LW arena...that's just dating back to tour 127

i should  i rarely am able to actually safely LAND my b25 tho, usually when a horde sees a lone b25 it becomes a "mine mine!" fest.

You have been killed by an A-20 while flying your B-25C (I think that was this tour, too).  But that doesn't count, the A-20 was cobia...
